Liberal Acquiescence

I want to know where the idea that I should accept everyone's beliefs came from. Yes, yes, I value that they have an opinion and that they are free to believe what they wish, but this should not also entail that I am barred from trying to change their minds. If one is wrong in math or physics do we not correct them? Is it not our duty to correct them? Then why are we forbidden to correct ones mistaken political or ideological beliefs? Some say because there is no absolute answer; but I would charge that neither is morality and the Church seems to like to do quite a bit of persuading. At any rate, it is the duty of all man to make their best attempt at fixing the problems in the world. Only whence we come together and debate and compromise can we make change. (Compromise of course is progressionary . Tomorrow

What is man but the culmination of all their actions? We are what we make ourselves. No one can make these decisions for us. We believe what we choose to believe. We like what we choose to like. Hate what we choose to hate. We are influencible yes, but not stuck to conforming to that influence. In the end, we must make a decision and that decision guides who we are and who we will become. This is the person that others see in you and the person that they like or hate. That said, vote tomorrow. Vote for the way that your children will see you and your peers. Vote for the way you want to be perceived. Just vote.
