Boldness

Day by day we walk the streets of our lives
This world surrounds us,
Engulfs us, and
Passes us by.

There is not time in any single day
To do all the things
We may want.
Time flies away.

Yet from the darkness shrouding our desires,
From this damnable
Condition,
We can rise.

Heavenly rifts of emotion alight.
Our burdens disappear
And we live
Life right.

The clouds of our dreams, once so ominous
Are driven away
By but one
Thing -- boldness.
